Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother will push for a return to Sporting the Juventus superstar, as Goal report.
Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, has vowed to persuade her son to return to Sporting CP next season.
She believes Ronaldo should make his way back to José Alvalade Stadium in the summer transfer window.
And she is sure of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner retracing his steps back to the club of his youth.
Ronaldo began his career at Sporting in 2002 as a young player. He then enjoyed trophy-laden spells at Manchester United and later, Real Madrid, where he moved in a then-record deal.
He thus quickly established himself as one of the best players in history in the process.
The 36-year-old then went on to add to his legacy at Juve, where he is contracted to remain until 2022. (Now, Juventus may have caught up on the fact that Ronaldo is draining their treasury.)
Ronaldo’s Mother Will Push for a Return to Sporting
His mother, however, believes him to be inclined to return to his premier club, Sporting Lisbon, as rumors of a Juventus exit surfaced.
Dolores Aveiro, who lives in Lisbon, spoke to supporters about her son’s future from her balcony as they celebrated Sporting’s first Primeira Liga title success since 2002 on Wednesday.
“I’ll talk to him [Cristiano] to bring him back,” she said. “Next year he will play in Alvalade [Sporting’s stadium].”
