Manchester United also continues to be connected with the German, which is supposed to be open to joining the side of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer.
Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also credited with an interest in the Germany International.
Madrid were reportedly going to offer for Kai Havertz €80 m (£71 m) during the transfer window this summer, but now Havertz could move to any club that pitches in.
