Neymar, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, will sit out the second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie against Barcelona on Wednesday.
Neymar has been out with an adductor injury since early February.
So, he will not be considered for selection against Barcelona after returning to training.
The 29-year-old was also unavailable for last month’s rematch at Camp Nou, which PSG won 4-1.
Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick, and Moise Kean also scored, putting the French in full command.
Meanwhile, a team news update from PSG on Tuesday read: “Neymar resumed partial training with the squad last week and will continue his individual recovery work.”
