Lorenzo Insigne Has Been Named MVP

Lorenzo Insigne has been named MVP. The Napoli and Italy player has become Serie A MVP for March.

Lega Serie A announced the best player of the month award.

Their statement reads, “Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne has been named MVP, the Serie A TIM 2020/2021 Most Valuable Player for the month of March.”

“The award will be given on Saturday, April 3rd, prior to the Napoli-Crotone match,” it read on.

So far this season, the Napoli captain has 13 goals and eight assists in 37 games for the Partenopei in all competitions.

Just last month, the 29-year-old scored three goals and added an assist in four games for Napoli.

Insigne is now with the Italy national team on international service.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic became the best player of Serie A in October.
