With Patrick Bamford scoring a goal and setting up another, Leeds defeated Fulham 1-2.
In a tense game at Craven Cottage, Leeds took the lead when Bamford smashed home at the near post from Jack Harrison’s cross.
Before this, in the first half, Leeds had two goals disallowed- the first when Luke Ayling’s header was called out by the VAR, and the second when Raphinha was obviously offside before slotting home.
Then, Fulham equalized when defender Joachim Andersen volleyed in Ademola Lookman’s corner. This was his first goal in English football.
But Leeds won just before the hour mark when Bamford helped Raphinha, who beat two defenders before poking home.
Curiously, Bamford was left out of the England squad on Thursday.
