June 1st marks the one-year death anniversary of Jose Antonio Reyes.
Reyes died in a horrific car accident which also claimed the life of his cousin, Jonathon, in the back seat. He was 35 when he died.
It has been confirmed that their car set on fire. Juan Manuel Calderón, who was also in the car, was badly burnt trying to save Reyes.
In a critical condition, Calderón was hospitalized and managed to survive.
From 2004 until 2007, Reyes played for Arsenal. He also represented Sevilla, Real Madrid, Benfica, Espanyol, Cordoba, Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard, and Extremadura.
