Handanovic Has COVID

Samir Handanovic, like his teammate Danilo D’Ambrosio, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Handanovic, after testing positive for COVID-19, is now self-isolating at home, according to a statement.

On Tuesday, D’Ambrosio was the first player to test positive for the Coronavirus, putting the team in fiduciary isolation at the Pinetina practice facility.

Inter confirmed the news, along with saying that the goalkeeper and captain will miss this weekend’s Serie A match against Parma.

As a precaution, a pre-match press conference scheduled for Friday has also been cancelled.
