FIGC has confirmed that this year, the summer transfer window in Italy will now take place between September 1 and October 5.
That also has implications for the January window, with the winter market now reopening for business on 4 January, before the January 31 deadline.
The market initially had to restart on July 1 and shut down on September 2, but that changed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the Italian side will be able to register new players from September 1 to October 5.
