Barcelona is said to have been planning to ship Philippe Coutinho out.
This is to pay for the money that they still owe to Liverpool for his 2018 move.
Brazil International completed Coutinho’s transfer to Camp Nou in January 2018 for an astounding €160m (£137m), but his three-year stay in Catalonia has not gone as planned.
Ronald Koeman is said to have seen Coutinho as a valuable part of his team, but his future in Barcelona is still in the air.
In fact, he was closely linked to a move back to the Premier League during the most recent summer window- it went nowhere, though.
According to Sport, Liverpool is now waiting to earn more than €50m (£42.9m) for his move.
