The Parisians beat Barcelona on aggregate in two games, beating the Catalans 4-1 on the road and drawing 1-1 at home.
And PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spoken out after the team reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
“Reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League is something to be proud of. I have already forgotten what it was like four years ago (smiling),” Al-Khelaifi told RMC Sport as per L’Équipe.
“History will remain history, but we played well and knocked out the great Barcelona. We are happy.”
He added: “Neymar and Mbappe are PSG players. They will remain PSG players forever.”
The Brazilian and Frenchman’s current contracts with PSG expire in the summer of 2022. The club are in talks to extend the players’ deals.
