Manchester City Will Sell Raheem Sterling for £68m

Manchester City have reportedly placed a £68 million price tag on the head of winger Raheem Sterling. So, Manchester City will sell Raheem Sterling for £68m, following his desire to move away from the club.

Sterling has battled for regular starts under Pep Guardiola this season, after links to a football transfer in the summer.

Recently, the 26-year-old went so far as to reveal that if the perfect opportunity arose, he would consider leaving City.

But Manchester City reportedly want to retain Raheem Sterling on their books despite the transfer rumours linking him to Barcelona.

Barca is prominent as a potential destination for Sterling, when Ousmane Dembele’s contract expires, if he does move away.

Although, Barca has identified RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo as a possible replacement for Dembele, too.

According to Marca, though, Manchester City also do not consider Raheem Sterling as totally indispensable.

The Premier League champions are preparing to demand €80m (£68m) from any potential suitors to part ways with the attacker.

Sterling wants to leave the Etihad Stadium before his contract expires in 2023, according to the source.

And while City were initially considering exchanging him for Cristiano Ronaldo, they seemingly value the player more now. Manchester City will only sell Sterling for the right price.
