Gareth Bale opened the score as early as in the 5th minute of the match. Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti’s squad dominated the entire first half.

However, Levante restored the parity in the score tally right after the break and added another goal 11 minutes later.

Vinicius Junior entered the pitch because he was replacing Eden Hazard and he scored just 10 minutes afterwards.

Then, the hosts took the lead once again when Rober Pier fired the ball into the net.

It took 6 minutes for the Brazilian striker to equalize making it 3-3.

2 minutes later, however, Aitor Fernandez received a straight red card which meant that then, the guests outnumbered the hosts. They had already used all 5 substitutes by then.

Finally, Levante’s defender Ruben Vezo ended up in a goal.

This is how the six-goal thriller finished with both sides sharing a point each.
