Jurgen Klopp appears to have not ruled out managing Bayern Munich in the future, once he has finished with Liverpool. So, among other developments in today’s football transfer news, Klopp has left the door open for Bayern Munich, coaching them.
Jurgen Klopp spent seven years in charge of Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga before moving to England. Under his leadership at Liverpool, the Reds have flourished in the Premier League and on the European stage too.
For this very reason – his success with both Dortmund and Liverpool, he is on Bayern Munich’s radar, as we understand.
And Klopp himself is, it seems, not unwilling to coach Bayern Munich, the defending Bundesliga champions and Dortmund’s arch rivals.
At the same time, however, he insists he is happy coaching and finessing the Liverpool team at Anfield for now.
Football Transfer News – Klopp Has Left the Door Open for Bayern
“I have a contract at Liverpool until 2022,” Klopp said to German newspaper Die Welt. “And no one here has the feeling that we should end it – neither from the side of the owner nor my side.
“I do not know (about managing Bayern). There’s a long way to go.
“Basically, football is like this: The opportunity has to be right, and the timing has to be right.
“But I’m totally happy here and do not feel like I’m finished here. Our team has a good age structure and we can work together for a while.”
