Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has no intention to leave the club in January, claims Diario Sport. Despite Barcelona’s plans to raise money from his sale, football transfer news, Coutinho will refuse to leave Barca in January.
Previous reports mentioned that the Catalan side wanted to sell Philippe Coutinho or at least send the Brazilian on loan.
But Barcelona haven’t yet found a proper club for him to join, regardless of it being on loan or permanently.
Former Blaugrana manager Ronald Koeman had given Coutinho the chance to prove himself, upon the Dutchman’s football transfer as coach.
However, under Koeman (who is now himself out), the 29-year-old failed to hold a steady place in the starting eleven.

And now, Phillipe Coutinho’s future rests with coach Xavi Hernandez, who took over the squad last week (the football news).
And the former Barcelona legend is reportedly willing to talk to the Brazilian in person before making a decision.
Xavi wants to give Coutinho a chance to consolidate his place in Barca before deliberating over his future at the Catalan club.
Coutinho, for his part, refuses to leave Camp Nou in the winter transfer window, though. Instead, he is determined to finish this present 2021-22 La Liga season in Spain.
