Antonetti claimed about Mbappe – “he needs to be more humble”. However, his own coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has defended him against this charge.
“I can understand why he [Antonetti] said that after the game – it’s a statement made after a defeat in an injury time,” Pochettino told the press, Le Parisien reports.
“As for Kylian, he is a wonderful boy and a great competitor who always wants to win. And the things that happen on the pitch must be put into context.”
“I can understand Frederic’s frustration but is there’s a quality that Kylian has, it’s humility,” the Argentine said about Mbappe.
