Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Harry Kane will be available for Tottenham’s Premier League opener against Manchester City. So, among other news in football today, Kane will play against his suitors Manchester City, said his Tottenham head coach.
Kane returned to Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground on Saturday, after spending some extra time away from the club on vacation.
This extra time cost him and Tottenham much, though, with the football news then saying he’d refused to join training.
The England captain wants to join Manchester City, who themselves wish to sign him this summer, on a football transfer.
Kane believes he has a “gentleman’s agreement” to leave Tottenham with chairman Daniel Levy, which exempts him from training too.
While Pep Guardiola’s side is confident of completing a deal, they have yet to present an acceptable offer, though.
Moreover, on the Tottenham side, Dan Levy is adamant that Kane will stay this summer regardless.
