Champions League Football Results – United Lost to Young Boys

The Swiss Young Boys celebrated a surprising 2-1 triumph over Manchester United at the very start of the Champions League. Going against our Group F football prediction, among yesterday’s Champions League football results, United lost to Young Boys.

The English team, away on the road at Switzerland, actually took the initial lead in the 13th minute.

A goal by Cristiano Ronaldo was their early reward for a phenomenal play by Bruno Fernandes.

However, problems for United began in the 35th minute when Wan-Bissaka received a red card for a tackle gone wrong. Later, Ronaldo fell as he tried to bring the ball closer to the Young Boys’ net. But in further bad luck for United, this tackle did not create a penalty opportunity for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, the Young Boys equalized in the 66th minute with a goal by Moumi Ngamaleu.

And at the epitome of the madness, at the final minute in Bern, Jordan Siebatche scored. He got a clear pathway to score in the 95th minute after a huge mistaken pass from Jesse Lingard.

Now, Villarreal and Atalanta, who are also part of this Group F, will play later.
