After some big shockers in Group F of Champions League football results, Groups G and H witnessed some marvelous football. In Group H, Juventus had an easy job beating Malmo, which they did 0-3 away, and Romelu Lukaku saved Chelsea. But though Group H presented two clear winners yesterday, the most exciting match was a 1-1 tie in Group G. Sevilla and Salzburg ended up in a 1-1 draw, but not before playing an absolute Champions League thriller.
Champions League Football Results – Groups G and H
Sevilla played 1-1 with Salzburg in Group G, at the start of either of the team’s 2021-22 Champions League campaign.
Though they drew 1-1, the two teams played one of the craziest games in the history of the Champions League.
The match was a rollercoaster on account of as many as four penalties that referees awarded in the first half. Three of these penalties were for Salzburg and one was for the home team.

In Group H, the current Champions League champions Chelsea had a difficult opening though they play at home, Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were up against Russia’s best team, Zenit, in either team’s debut 2021-22 UCL match and they barely won it.
The Blues won 1-0 because Romelu Lukaku scored the only goal of the match late in the 69th minute.

In the same Group H, Juventus also secured their own starting three points by defeating Malmö 3-0 away, in Sweden.
The game saw definite resolution in the first 45 minutes itself, because that is when Juventus scored all three goals.
After Alex Sandro, in the very end, Paulo Dybala scored on a penalty and Morata delivered the third, final goal.
