Carlo Ancelotti Finished 800 League Games as a Manager

The most recent football match that Real Madrid won, 1-2 away against Valencia, brought a milestone for Carlo Ancelotti. The club’s press office reported, in football today, Carlo Ancelotti finished 800 league games as a manager last night.

Carlo Ancelotti’s career as a top-flight manager began way back in 1996 with Parma. There, he managed the Italian side for 68 league games. Next came his stint with Juventus when he was in charge for 84 games.

He’s slotted the highest number of games as a head coach at AC Milan, where he supervised 238 league matches.

After Milan, Ancelotti oversaw 76 games as Chelsea manager, and then, 57 at Paris Saint-Germain.

More recently, Ancelotti’s been coach at Bayern Munich for 40 league matches, at Napoli for 53, and at Everton for 58.

During his career as a football coach, Ancelotti has won several league titles in Italy, England France and Germany. On top of that, he’s a three-time Champions League title winner across his managing career.

And now, the Real Madrid boss has reached yet another landmark – that of supervising 800 league games as a manager.

Further, Ancelotti did so jubilantly, by celebrating a 2-1 victory over one of the toughest rivals, Valencia, at Mestalla Stadium.

Now, the legendary Italian has completed his 81st game at the helm of Real Madrid. After all, he already 76 games between 2013 and 2015 along with those five in his second spell at the club.
