Barcelona Have Agreed to the Football Transfer of Renato Sanches

According to Alexis Bernard from le10sport, Barcelona have agreed to the football transfer of Renato Sanches.

After the football news of Lionel Messi leaving, Barcelona have conceded to signing Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches over from Lille.

Journalist Alexis Bernard also claims that the only thing Barcelona have to do now is reach an agreement with Lille.

According to prior reports this summer, Arsenal was close to signing the Portuguese midfielder, earlier in this transfer window.

Furthermore, Arsenal had allegedly already held preliminary talks to discuss a potential move to the Premier League for Renato Sanches. If these sources were correct, Sanches would’ve transferred to the Gunners for a fee of €30 million.

However, the situation appears to have shifted dramatically in the last few hours.

Instead of Arsenal, Barcelona has made contact with the player’s agent, and the club seemingly interested in the young midfielder.

Barcelona Have Agreed to the Football Transfer of Renato Sanches

Barcelona’s readiness to buy Renato Sanches comes as a surprise to us, especially given the club’s precarious financial situation.

After all, Barcelona has just announced Lionel Messi’s departure for financial reasons.

But now, the Catalan club appears to be interested in a player worth at least €30 million.

However, Barcelona could only be looking to sign the youngster on a loan, with the option to buy in the future.

However, with Sanches’ stocks currently in the clouds, it remains to be seen whether he will agree to a loan.

It is also unsure whether the player’s party, his agents or his club Lille, is open to such a deal.
