After Barcelona confirmed Ansu Fati’s injury before facing Rayo Vallecano, the young star is a major doubt for tonight’s match.
The 18-year-old had seemingly suffered an injury while playing for Barcelona against Real Madrid in an El Clasico football match.
Fati limped off during the game, prompting concerns about a setback to Barcelona’s team on account of an injury.
After all, he did miss playing for Barcelona for nearly a year due to a knee ailment he was suffering.
Since then, sources have listed the 18-year-old as a doubt for this evening’s La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano.

And now, according to a COPE report, the extent of the harm done to Ansu Fati has finally been exposed.
Fati took a hit to his right knee during the Clásico, according to the radio station. And, because of this, he most certainly is a doubt for this evening’s match in Vallecas.
In some ways, though Barca fans will be relieved to learn that Fati is having surgery on his other knee. Having long suffered a bad right knee, it is his left one that needs looking at right now.
As such, Barca were going to assess Fati today to see whether he can travel to Vallecas, per Ronald Koeman.
But we now know for sure that he will not play in the game and will definitely not travel.
Barca’s next match is this weekend against Alaves. So, playing Fati on Wednesday night would have been a major risk given his recent injury.
