Flavius Daniliuc has left OGC Nice to sign for US Salernitana 1919. The defender has signed a four year contract in Salerno. The transfer fee involved in the signing is reported to be £ 4.50 million.
Daniliuc joined Nice from the Bayern Munich reserves as a 19-year-old. Despite making 47 appearances in his two seasons at Nice. Flavius has not been able to secure a regular position in the team.
This has stopped him from breaking into the national team despite making six U21 appearances. The 21-year-old will move toStadio Arechi where he will wear the number 5 shirt.
Granata announced: ‘The US Salernitana 1919 announces that it has reached an agreement with Nice for the definitive transfer of the ’01 class defender Flavius David Daniliuc.
‘The footballer, who joined the grenade club until 2026, will wear the number 5 shirt.’
Les Aiglons confirmed the same, stating: ‘Goodbye Flavius! Flavius Daniliuc has left OGC Nice after making one last start and qualifying for the Europa Conference League group stage. The 21-year-old Austrian defender has joined Salernitana this Monday.
‘In his first season with the club, Daniliuc scored his first and only goal for Nice, a header in a 1-2 win at Rennes, before playing in 26 more games in 2021-22.
