A surprise summer swoop for Inter Milan defender Diego Godin is reportedly prepared by Everton.
According to Calciomercato, quoted by the Prince Rupert’s Tower, since his arrival, Inter boss Antonio Conte has been underwhelmed by the performances of the Uruguay international.
The former boss of Chelsea is believed to be willing to listen to offers for the centre-back when the transfer window opens again and Everton boss Ancelotti sees him as a ‘viable option’ as he looks to strengthen his squad.
Since moving from Atletico Madrid to the San Siro last summer, Godin, 34, made 16 Series A appearances this season.
