ES Troyes AC have signed Danish right-back Andreas Bruus, from Brøndby. The club announced, “ESTAC is pleased to announce the signing of Andreas Bruus (23), from Brøndby (Danish 1st division), who has signed a contract committing him to the next five seasons with the Trojan club (2027). A promising right-back, Andreas will be able to continue his rise in Ligue 1 Uber Eats and will strengthen the Trojan workforce.”
ES Troyes AC added, “Born in Greve Strand (Denmark) on January 16, 1999, Andreas joined the Brøndby Academy at a very young age (2005). In October 2017, he signed his first professional contract, then aged 18. He made his debut with the first team in December of the same year, against AGF Aarhus (2-2, Superliga).
“In 22 appearances, he scored 4 goals and delivered 4 assists. He scored twice against Nykøbing FC in a big away win (0-5).
“Back in Brøndby, Andreas Bruus takes part in several European matches in 2021. He plays all of the two Champions League play-off matches , against RB Salzburg. Then plays five matches in the Europa League during the same exercise. Including two against at Olympique Lyonnais .
“In total, the native of Greve Strand played 149 games, scored 23 goals and provided 7 assists. This converted former striker will play an important role in the offensive animation of the Trojan team.
