According to various reports, we learn that Erling Haaland is on the verge of signing with Manchester City.
SPORT1 reported that “Manchester City will trigger Erling Haaland’s €75 million release clause at Borussia Dortmund. And all relevant parties have now informed the Bundesliga club of their intentions.”
According to reports coming out of Belgium, we learn that the Norwegian completed a medical at Hospital Erasme in Brussels on Monday.
The news was made certain when one of Dortmund’s representatives revealed the training schedule. “The players have no training today and we allowed Erling (Haaland) to take care of personal matters,” they said.
As the final stamp of authorisation transfer guru and journalist, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the same. Romano would further go on to reveal Dortmund would look to replace Haaland with Karim Adeyemi.
“Official announcement this week for Erling Haaland to join Man City… and so the same is expected for Karim Adeyemi to join Borussia Dortmund. Both deals are completed. #BVB
“Borussia Dortmund will invest €38m on Adeyemi then want to sign one more striker too this summer,” Romano tweeted.
According to several reports over the years; it is common knowledge that Haaland’s contract at Dortmund is said to have a 75m euro fee – which equates to £62m.
However, along with the wages and agent fees, the entire move is expected to cost around £200m.
