Dele Alli was left out of Tottenham’s squad once again.
So far in 2019/20, Dele has played only one of Spurs’ three Premier League games, playing the first 45 minutes of the opening weekend clash with Everton before being taken off at the half time.
While the 24-year-old did feature for Spurs in the Europa League tussle with Shkendija recently, he has not even made the substitutes bench for his side’s last two Premier League games.
Indeed, for the game against Newcastle on Sunday, Dele was excluded from the matchday squad.
Now, he was excluded from Tuesday evening’s Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea.
In fact, Mourinho was supposed to rotate his team for Tuesday’s match, with Tottenham back in Thursday’s European action.
However, The Telegraph reports that the England international has once again been left out of the squad for the match against Chelsea.
