According to France Football, Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo was considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain last winter.
France Football has written that the entourage of Ronaldo ‘considered it very likely’ that the 35-year-old would leave Juventus and move to Paris.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic allegedly disrupted these talks with PSG. According to the report, the pandemic blocked the proposed negotiations and Ronaldo ended up in Turin.
The Portuguese talisman is now expected to remain at Juventus in 2020-21.
The news comes just days before the return leg of the Old Lady against Olympique Lyonnais in the last 16 of the Champions League, where Juventus will have to turn around a 1-0 loss at Groupama Stadium in Lyon.
