Cristian Romero has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent deal. The defender joined the Club on a season-long loan from Atalanta in August, 2021.
The 24-year-old has signed a contract that will run until 2027. The transfer is said to have set back the Londoners €50 million. Making Romero the 3rd most expensive signing in the club’s history.
Cristian Romero appeared 22 times for spurs in the previous season. He signs as an Argentine international with 11 caps to his name.

‘After initially joining the Club on a season-long loan from Atalanta in August, 2021, the Argentina international has agreed a deal that will run until 2027.
‘At international level, he has made eleven appearances for his country to date, scoring once and in June, 2022, he capped off an impressive campaign as La Albiceleste claimed the CONMEBOL UEFA Cup of Champions in the inaugural ‘Finalissima’, beating Italy at Wembley.’
