Midfielder Douglas Costa spoke about his return to Bayern on loan from Juventus.
“For a long time, I wanted to return to Bayern, I am very happy here,” said Douglas Costa in an interview with Sport Bild.
“I always kept in touch with former teammates: Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Thomas Muller, Joshua Kimmich. Never lost a contract with them.”
About Juve, he said, “Before moving to Juventus, I had other offers. But this is one of the best clubs in Europe. I wanted to win the Champions League with Juventus.
“I was lucky to play with great players – with Neymar in the national team and with Ronaldo in Juventus. Now I play with Robert Lewandowski – the best in Europe. But if you look at the numbers, then Ronaldo is a little higher than the level.”
