Clermont Foot 63 have signed Neto Borges from Genk. The club have stated this on their website: “Clermont Foot 63 is pleased to announce its first recruit for the 2022/2023 season in the person of 25-year-old Brazilian left-back Neto Borges.
“Originally from the State of Bahia and trained in Brazil (Boca Junior then Itabaiana in the State of Sergipe, CA Tubarão in the State of Santa Catarina), the player by his full name Vivaldo Borges dos Santos Neto, joined Europe in 2018 to evolve under the colors of Hammarby, club with which he finished 4th in the Swedish championship (26 games, 4 assists) before being transferred to Genk in January 2019.
“Neto Borges has signed up for 2 seasons + 1 optional and will wear number 3 in the colors of Clermont Foot 63.
Upon joining the club, the full-back said: “I am extremely motivated to arrive at a club. Which has very clear growth objectives like I have myself.
