Chelsea reportedly decided on an asking price for Jorginho of about £60 m, in the wake of reports linking him to a move to Juventus.
Jorginho scored nine goals in 91 games for Chelsea since joining the club.
The London outfit wants between €65 m (£58.2 m) and €70 m (£62.6 m) for the Italy international – slightly more than they paid to sign him two years ago.
A possible swap deal that would see Miralem Pjanic move to Barcelona has been in the works at Juventus. Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is also rumoured to be interested in that scenario.
However, with Barcelona close to swapping one of their own (Arthur Melo) for Pjanic, Tuttosport reported that the Blues have outright told Juventus how much a straight cash deal would cost to acquire Jorginho.
Juve’s boss, Maurizio Sarri, worked with Jorginho in Napoli before taking him to the Stamford Bridge, and he now reportedly wants the midfielder in Turin for the third time.
