Charles De Ketelaere has signed until 2027 with AC Milan from Club Brugge FC.
Milan announced: “The Belgian has signed until 2027 and will wear the number 90 jersey.
“AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge FC.
“The player has signed a contract until 30 June 2027 and will wear the number 90 jersey.
“Born in Bruges on 10 March 2001, Charles grew up in the Club Bruges Youth Sector before making his debut for the club in 2019. Since then he has made 120 appearances and scored 25 goals, winning the Belgian League three times and Super Cup twice.
“In November 2020, he made his debut for the Belgian national team and has since played for them eight times and scored once.”
Bruges confirmed the same, stating: “Club Brugge and AC Milan have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Charles De Ketelaere to the Serie A.”
Vincent Mannaert said: “At Club Brugge we are extremely proud to see an academy graduate move to the Italian champions. We’ve seen and helped Charles grow and flourish into the player he is today. We wish him all the best at his new club.”
Charles De Ketelaere said: “I am obviously very excited to embark on this new journey. Already as a young player I had the ambition to play abroad, for a top team. I want to thank everyone at Club Brugge for all the chances. It will forever be my home.”
