After his loan spell at Arsenal, Dani Ceballos has affirmed his desire for success at Real Madrid.
“I’m a player from Real Madrid … and any player in the world would like to play for Real Madrid,” Ceballos said to TVE on Wednesday.
Ceballos is at the Premier League club on a season-long loan, but is contracted with Madrid until 2023: “I have a three-year extension with them and they’re the dream partner to succeed.”
The player has shown up this season in 24 games for the Gunners, scoring one goal and making two assists.
When reports swirled that Madrid was ready to sell him and Sergio Reguilon a trade deal for Seville player Lucas Ocampos, Ceballos had his future called into doubt earlier this month.
The nine-time Spain international, however, is still eager to succeed with the La Liga giants, who arrived three years ago from Real Betis.
