Carlos Soler has left Valencia CF to join Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent transfer

Carlos Soler has left Valencia CF to join Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent transfer. The midfielder has signed a contract that will keep him at the French capital until 2027.

The transfer is reported to be £16.20m, PSG is said to have got themselves a bargain. With Solers’ contract at Valencia expiring at the end of the season.

Carlos arrives at the Parc des Princes having made 226 appearances for Valencia. A club in which he scored 36 goals. The 25-year-old also has 9 caps for Spain to add to his name.

Les Parisiens announced, ‘Delighted to announce the signing of Spain international Carlos Soler. The attacking midfielder joins from Valencia CF, signing with the capital club through to 2027.’

Carlos Soler: “I would like to thank everybody for the welcome that I have received. I am very happy! It’s a new adventure for me in my career, the first away from Valencia and outside of Spain, and I feel very proud and excited about the idea of starting work with my teammates! I can’t wait to meet them and to give my all for this jersey.

“I’m very happy! It’s a new adventure in my career. I feel very proud and I’m looking forward to starting work with my teammates, to meeting them, and giving everything for this shirt. On Tuesday, we’re playing our first Champions League game at the Parc des Princes, and it’ll be an opportunity for me to get to know it.
