Brentford FC have snapped up Yehor Yarmoliuk from Ukrainian club SC Dnipro-1. Yarmoliuk has arrived for an undisclosed fee on a three year deal.
Brentford FC have announced: “Delighted to announce the signing of midfield player Yehor Yarmoliuk, subject to international clearance. Yehor has joined from Ukrainian side SC Dnipro-1 for an undisclosed fee. And he has signed a three-year contract with a Club option of an additional year.
“The 18-year-old has completed a medical and will initially join up with Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford B with the aim of pushing on to challenge for a place in the First Team squad.”
On Yehor’s arrival in West London, Director of Football Phil Giles said: “Yehor is a player with very high potential and we’re pleased to welcome him to Brentford.
“He’s a really advanced midfield player who can also play even higher up. He’s somebody who can create, assist, and is technically very good. He will bring a dynamic element to the team, as well as a lot of power.
“He’s coming to us from a very difficult time in Ukraine. And we are here to support him in every single way, on and off the pitch. We will help him to improve his English over a period of time. But first and foremost we will do everything to make him feel included at the Club. And make sure he settles in properly.”
