Bayer Leverkusen sign Czech striker Adam Hlozek from Sparta Prague

Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Czech striker Adam Hlozek. The club announced this on their official website.

The statement read: “Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed the Czech Republic international Adam Hlozek. The 19-year-old striker joins the Werkself from Sparta Prague on a five-year deal to 30 June 2027.”

Bayer 04 sporting director Simon Rolfes mentioned: “Adam Hlozek is a player who plays as a number ten and he also poses a big goal threat coming in from the wing. His versatility, power and, above all, his finishing will provide more options in our attacking game.”

Adam Hlozek upon signing with the club said: “It’s great for me to have been signed by one of the best clubs in the Bundesliga. I’ve regularly watched Bayer 04 Leverkusen over the past few weeks. The team plays wonderful football. Being part of this team fills me with great hope and expectations.”

Meanwhile Sparta Prague upon bidding farewell to their wonderkid said: “4 years in the first team. 132 competitive games, 40 goals, and 32 assists. The youngest goal scorer, the youngest hattrick’s author, the youngest best league scorer, the youngest player with 100 league appearances and we could go on. Adam Hložek made a couple of records in Sparta that will stay in the history of our club. 19 years old player is leaving Sparta and chasing a new challenge – playing for Bayer Leverkusen in Bundesliga.”
