Arsenal keep trying to sign Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners have already agreed on the terms of a personal contract with the Frenchman.
However, it is proving difficult to agree with the leadership of the Lyon on the amount of compensation for the football player.
Lyon President Jean-Michel Ola commented on rumors that connect Aouar with a possible transfer to Arsenal.
“Arsenal made a small offer. It seemed to us that they didn’t take into account the fact that Aouar is a player in the French national team. So this offer could not even make us think about selling,” President of Lyon said, according to GFFN.
A Canal Plus journalist asked a shareholder how much Lyon wants to earn on Houssem Aouar’s transfer: 40 or 50 million euros?
“This is definitely more than the first number you mentioned,” Ola answered.
