Alexis Trouillet has left OGC Nice to join Panathinaikos on a permanent transfer

Alexis Trouillet has left OGC Nice to join Panathinaikos on a permanent transfer. The transfer fee involved in the deal remains undisclosed by both clubs.

The Frenchman has signed a three year deal at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium. This should keep him at the club until June 2025.

The 21-year-old arrived in January 2020 from Stade Rennais. Since then he has managed 8 appearances for the Gym. Last season, he impressed on loan at Auxerre, managing 24 appearances.

The Shamrock announced: “PAE Panathinaikos announces the acquisition by transfer from the French Nice, of the French midfielder, Alexis Trouillet, who will belong to our team until June 2025.

“Alexis Trouillet was born on December 23, 2000 in the city of Saint-Priest-en-Yarez in central France. He started football at Rennes academy where he remained until he was 19 years old. In January 2020, he was acquired by Nice. Where they initially played in the second team. In the summer of 2020, he earned a place in the first team, got appearances and even played in two Europa League group games. In the summer of 2021 he was loaned out to Auxerre with whom he competed in the French second division and won promotion to Ligue 1, before returning in the summer of 2022 to Nice. He is international with France’s U18 team.

Les Aiglons confirmed: “The 21-year-old midfielder joins Panathinaikos after two and a half seasons at OGC Nice. He joins Panathinaikos Athens, current leader of the Greek Superleague.
